we christened a legacy. L'Amphore is the crystallization of François Moreau’s mastery,
a Maison of fine cabinetmaking born in the heart of Dijon. Our role was that of cultural architects, guiding the transition from a private atelier to a recognized signature of excellence. From the genesis of the naming to the photographic documentation of the craft,
we codified a universe where noble woods and limited editions are not products, but artifacts of patience. We translated the silent language of the chisel into a coherent visual heritage.
Creative Direction
“Ancestral Grain”
The creative direction, Ancestral Grain, rejects digital sterility to embrace the "hand of the maker." The imagotype—an ancient amphora treated with deliberate visual noise—serves as a metaphor for the unpolished honesty of raw timber and the memory of the tool. We curated a palette of earthy, deep tones that mimic the oxidation of walnut and oak, creating
a "Tactile Narrative". The typography reflects the structural integrity of traditional joinery: solid, balanced, yet refined. The photographic strategy treats the workshop not as a factory, but as a sanctuary, capturing the dance between light and sawdust to reveal the soul of the métier.

The Atelier: Curating Scarcity
For two decades, François Moreau operated in the prestigious silence of private commissions, crafting bespoke treasures for the discerning few. The genesis of L'Amphore marks the revelation of this secret, transitioning from a hidden atelier to a beacon of uncompromising artistry. Located in the historic heart of Dijon, the workshop functions not as a factory, but as a sanctuary of savoir-faire.
Here, alongside master artisans Michel Dupont and Maël Deveraux, the rhythm of creation is dictated solely by the pursuit of perfection, never the clock. We structured this metamorphosis by anchoring the brand in the principle of "Intentional Scarcity." L'Amphore rejects the industrial noise to offer strictly numbered series. Each piece is a testament to the human hand—an unrepeatable dialogue between the artisan’s soul and the noble grain—ensuring that ownership remains a rare privilege.
